Wallace Falls Trail

Wallace Falls State Park is almost 5,000 acres outside of Gold Bar, Washington. The park contains three waterfalls with each falling more than 200 feet.

New Northern Rangers video

Due to time constraints it has taken me longer to get the Northern Rangers video up then I wanted.

But tomorrow, instead of just one video, I'll host TWO NEW Northern Rangers videos.

We went on a hike up Poo Poo Point in Issaquah, Washington today.

The Northern Rangers are back

That's right. After far too long of a hiatus, the Northern Rangers are back.
On Saturday we'll be heading back out for another adventure.

This time we'll be hiking to Wallace Falls near Gold Bar, Washington. We were looking for a hike that wouldn't be too hard but still be a decent length. As well as not have waist-deep snow on the trail. Snowshoeing is an adventure we have planned for next month.

The information we've found says that if you do the loop it's a 6.2 miles round-trip hike.

The Washington State Parks website had this to say about Walls Falls State Park:

The park features a 265-foot waterfall, old growth coniferous forest, and fast moving rivers and streams. Opportunities to view local wildlife, including cougar near Wallace Falls, and peregrine falcons inhabit the rock cliffs of the Index Town Wall.
