We don't stop hiking because we grow old, we grow old because we stop hiking. -- Finis Mitchell

Journey on the Wild Coast

I came across this preview for the documentary"Journey on the Wild Coast."

In June 2007, Bretwood Higman and Erin McKittrick walked out of Seattle heading north. Twelve months and 4,000 miles later, they came to a stop at the end of the Aleutian Islands chain, having made their way by foot, pack raft, and skis. The trip was ostensibly about raising awareness of conservation issues, but the underlying reason, says Erin, was to bite off a huge challenge.

  1. Have you seen anything else on this film coming out? It's pretty awesome, these two are tough as nails to trek/travel that distance!
